Looking at my father and his father I ask the question what is my legacy what will I become, what will be left beside my skeleton will it be a paint brush or will it be something else, will I go into business. This is part one of a tryptic of three self portraits, i painted a skull because in a 100 years thats all that will left the numbers are the exact number of days i was alive when i finished the painting.
Part two of the tryptic of skulls from my solo show “Heavy is the head that wears the crown” that was on show in The Dean Dublin.

In a quest to make a painting about “the soul “ i could not for the life of me spell the word “soul”, i then decided to make a painting to remind me how the word is spelt.
a shot of the fantastic space in The Dean Dublin.
“The only difference between monopoly money and money is the word monopoly”. Why is there so much weight put on money, in this painting i ask myself what would happen if it just disappeared.
